Criteria for Accreditation

Criteria for RIH (SG) and RAIH (SG) Accreditation

  

Work Experience

Applicants should have a minimum of one year of practical experience in industrial hygiene or an equivalent field, depending on the type of scheme applied for.



Applicants should currently be practicing as industrial hygienists or involved in industrial hygiene practice in Singapore. For applicants practicing both within and outside Singapore, they should have a registered office address and residential address in Singapore.


Education / Qualification


Applicants should possess a recognized first degree or postgraduate degree in industrial hygiene.


If applicants do not have an industrial hygiene degree, they should possess a basic qualification, diploma, or degree in acceptable disciplines (e.g., engineering, science) and have completed recognized education/courses in industrial hygiene as outlined in Chart 1- RAIH (SG) flowchart or Chart 2- RIH (SG) flowchart.
