Criteria for Accreditation

Criteria for RIH (SG) and RAIH (SG) Accreditation

RAIH (SG) Application

RAIH registration requirements include a basic degree in occupational hygiene, engineering, science, or a related field. Experience requirements vary by qualification: candidates with an OH/IH degree need one year of practical experience, while those with non-OH/IH degrees or SDOH require two years. Professional competency will be assessed through an interview.

RIH (SG) Application

To qualify for RIH registration, candidates must hold a basic degree in occupational hygiene, engineering, science, or a related field. They must have completed a minimum of 150 hours of OH/IH coursework and possess at least 4 years of practical experience in OH/IH. Professional competency will be assessed through an interview.

Candidates must submit their application, including an IH coursework form and official university transcript, to the OEHS Secretariat. The RIH Board will determine the assessment path based on the applicant's qualifications. Those with an OH/IH degree will proceed directly to an interview, while those with Specialist Diploma in Occupational Hygiene (SDOH) or without a recognized OH/IH degree must first pass a written examination before the interview stage.
